8th Grade helpers

We are so lucky to have 8th grade helpers come into our classroom everyday to help out!

What is inside of a pumpkin?

Exploring the inside of a pumpkin! The outside was hard and smooth and the inside was wet and gooey. We took turns pulling out seeds and counting them.

Pumpkin Farm Trip

Our first field trip to the pumpkin farm was a lot of fun! We went on a hayride through the pumpkin patch, saw many different animals and were able to pick out our very own pumpkin to take home!

Hard Workers

Working in our journals is fun, but we are also secretly strengthening our fine motor muscles - the first step in learning how to write.

Color Mixing Fun

After reading the books Mouse Paint and Little Blue and Little Yellow, we did our own color mixing just like in the stories. Instead of using paint brushes, we used our fingers to create some new colors. We started out with red, yellow and blue paint...and we were able to make orange, purple, green and brown by mixing them together!

Glue Sticks

Learning how to use a Glue Stick is a big deal in Preschool! We created colorful circle collages using our glue sticks.

School is FUN!

Our first few days of school have been exciting! We are learning our classroom routine, making new friends and discovering all of the fun things to do at school. It's going to be a great school year!
