Songs and Crafts
A BIG thank you to all of the family members that were able to join us for our December songs and crafts activity! It was such a fun way to end 2017 in Preschool. We can't wait to see everyone back after Winter Break!

Cutting and Gluing Practice
Open, shut, open, shut...
That's the way we cut, cut, cut.
Fingers on the bottom, thumb on the top-
Do not let the paper drop.
Open, shut, open, shut...
That's the way we cut, cut, cut.

Happy Thanksgiving!!
A turkey is a silly bird...
His head goes Wobble, Wobble!
The turkey only knows one word...
And that is Gobble - Gobble!

And that is Gobble - Gobble!

Fire Department Visit
A big thank you to the Greendale Fire Department for visiting us at Bloom 'N Grow! We were able to watch a firefighter get into his gear and talk about how they do their job to keep us safe. We even had a chance to sit in the firetruck and see all of the equipment that is needed to fight fires.

Pumpkin Exploration
What is inside of a pumpkin? Some guesses were "candy", "sticks", "gross slime" and "pumpkin meat". When we opened it up, we found seeds and "stringy and slimy stuff" (pulp).
Our Pumpkin Observations:
The outside of the pumpkin was hard, orange, a little bumpy and had a stem on top.
The inside was squishy, wet, slimy, a little soft and had seeds all over. The seeds were fun to pull out and push around on the plate.

Pumpkin Farm Trip
Our visit to the pumpkin farm was a lot of fun! We had so much to do and see while we were there. We went on a very bumpy hayride around the pumpkin patch, had a chance to ride on a pony and hold kittens that were only a couple weeks old. All of the children and parents had the opportunity to pick out their very own pumpkin from the pumpkin patch to take home! The best part of the day was riding on a BIG school bus!!
