Marble Painting

We used marbles that were covered in paint to decorate a Shamrock!  By moving the box side to side we made the marbles roll around and watched the paint move too!

Teddy Bear Day

Bringing our Teddy Bears to school was a lot of fun.  We read stories about bears, counted and sorted our bears, made bear pictures, created bear headbands to wear and showed our bears how cool school is!

Elasta-Band Fun

We love using our Elasta-Band during music and movement time.  Here we are using the band as we sing "The Wheels on The Bus".  As we hold onto the band, we lean back and then pull our bodies back up. This helps to strengthen our core muscles.  Lots of giggles are heard during this activity!

Chalk Snowflakes

Drawing winter pictures with chalk - it was fun to make snowflakes in all different colors!

Winter Trees

Since we do not have any real snow outside - we worked hard to create our very own snowy winter trees for our classroom!

Learning Through Play

Checkout the aftermath of some serious cutting!  Our sensory table is filled with wrapping paper to cut up and rip apart - a fun way to strengthen those fine motor muscles!  We also practiced stringing beads onto pipe cleaners to make holiday necklaces.
